James (Mike) Cahill leads SGI’s five plants located in Annapolis, MO; Blue Ridge Summit, PA; Ione, CA; and Pembine, WI, in the manufacturing of roofing, industrial minerals, and agricultural products to ensure quality production of materials to fulfill customer volume needs.
Before becoming part of SGI’s executive leadership team, Cahill held roles as Site Manager and Maintenance Manager at the Charmian facility in Blue Ridge Summit. Cahill brings more than 35 years’ experience in mining and manufacturing operations. Prior to SGI, Cahill worked at numerous Cargill Salt and Deicing Technology operations for 20 years, holding both corporate and local roles in operations, and maintenance and reliability.
Cahill holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
