Abdallah Simaika Appointed President of SGI
Abdallah Simaika has been appointed President of SGI. He succeeds Justin Dunlap, who will lead a new business unit at GAF, North America's largest roofing and waterproofing manufacturer, that includes SGI along with other essential parts of the roofing supply chain. SGI will continue to operate autonomously.
Since 2017, Simaika has served in a number of leadership roles across Standard Industries, the parent company of GAF and SGI, including most recently as a member of the executive leadership team at GAF. Previously, he spent more than a decade in senior mergers and acquisitions and business development roles across the finance, healthcare, and legal industries.

We will continue to build upon this success while unlocking new avenues for innovation and value creation for our customers.”
Over his 26-year tenure at SGI, Dunlap has led the transformation of the organization’s business model from focusing solely on roofing solutions to becoming a multifaceted company that manufactures roofing, building materials, and agricultural products.
